Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Business Analyst – Data Products to partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams across engineering, operations, and analytics. This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of data product development, translating business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable business value.
This position requires a strong blend of Business Analysis and Data Analysis skills, with hands-on technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Analysis & POC Development
Build and validate POCs for new and enhanced data products
Query, transform, and test data using SQL, Databricks, and Power BI (or equivalent)
Develop mock dashboards to validate metrics and business logic
Document source-to-target mappings, data logic, and test results
Identify data anomalies and required transformations early
Data Product Execution & Delivery
Translate business goals into clear user stories and technical requirements
Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery tracking
Validate development outputs, support QA & UAT
Continuously refine requirements as data maturity evolves
Data Architecture & Quality Alignment
Collaborate with data engineers and architects on data models and optimization
Maintain clarity on data lineage, definitions, and relationships
Support governance and data quality through documentation and validation
Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate ADO tickets, sprint boards, and documentation
Track dependencies and delivery progress
Proactively identify blockers and propose solutions
 

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or Technical Business Analysis
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Databricks (Python/PySpark is a plus)
Solid understanding of data ingestion, transformation, ETL, and Lakehouse architecture
Experience validating data models, metrics, and pipelines
Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile tools
Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
