Description

You will own the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of data center infrastructure and server hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on data network devices, including CRAC, UPS, PDU, switchgear, and ATS units.
• Troubleshoot and repair server hardware and network issues, running diagnostics and replacing failing components.
• Monitor system processes, evaluate temperature levels, and maintain accurate work records and event logs.
• Install and arrange new equipment, manage cabling, labeling, and update ACDC forms.
• Provide technical support to clients and coworkers, and educate staff on hardware troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or facilities management.
• Hands-on experience with CRAC, UPS, PDU, Switchgear, and ATS systems.
• Proficiency in hardware repair and IT computer networking (servers, switches, routers).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for cabling and basic hardware issues.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40lbs and work in tight spaces.
• Technical writing skills for developing standard operating procedures and manuals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with inventory management of tools and network devices.
• Ability to explain complex technical processes to non-technical staff.
