Description

Lead the buildout of data lake solutions and mentor a team of data engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable data architectures across business units.
• Design and implement ETL processes using Airflow and Databricks.
• Mentor data engineers and guide the development of next-generation data solutions.
• Partner with technical teams to support Lakehouse architectures and Hive Metastore solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of data engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading teams of data engineers.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with NoSQL databases.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and Terraform.
• Expertise in big data frameworks including Spark and Presto.
• Hands-on experience with Delta/Parquet file formats and Lakehouse architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the payments industry.
• AWS certification and Kafka experience.
