Description

Lead engineering teams to deliver high-quality data management, cloud optimization, and security projects in heavily regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams focused on data management, cloud optimization, and information security.
• Direct financial and budget activities to fund operations and maximize project investments.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to solve complex problems and improve functions.
• Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans to manage enterprise risk.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to manage the delivery of features and functions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data management, ETL, ELT, and NoSQL.
• 5 years of experience with the AWS cloud platform, including S3.
• 3 years of experience with Databricks and RedShift.
• 3 years of experience in heavily regulated environments (healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device) using GxP and Systems Validation.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, and R.
• Experience managing full enterprise scope including architecture, design, implementation, and support.
• Experience with Kong API management and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Experience designing large-scale, multi-terabyte, highly available database architectures.
• Experience with SIEM tool implementations using Splunk, ELK, or similar tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
