Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in Azure, ingesting structured and unstructured data using Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize complex data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop stored procedures and scripts in PL/SQL and T-SQL.
• Create and manage notebooks in Databricks or Synapse.
• Apply data modelling and warehousing fundamentals to support business requirements.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to define and document data solutions.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Basic + Advanced) and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark.
• Proven working knowledge of Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Databricks or Synapse notebooks.
• Solid understanding of ETL fundamentals and modern data platform concepts.
• Proficiency in source control tools.
