Description

You will own DataOps support, monitoring data quality jobs, and managing incident lifecycles for the CDQ product team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor long-running, hung, or failed jobs and resolve platform issues, code errors, and resource constraints.
• Manage support tickets in Jira, resolving them within specified SLAs and handling alert configuration or scheduling issues.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain documentation in the Collibra knowledge base.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot data management problems and ensure system stability.
• Configure and manage alerting mechanisms, including email delivery and monitoring integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and data management.
• Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure tools: Packer, Vault, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks: ELK, Prometheus, and Alert Manager.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, or BitBucket.
• Scripting or coding experience, ideally in GoLang.
• Knowledge of Ubuntu OS or Bottlerocket.
• Understanding of data structures, flows, and data modelling.
• Experience using Jira and Collibra.

• Strong documentation and stakeholder management abilities.
