Design and scale enterprise Lakehouse architectures on Databricks while driving data platform standards, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade data platforms using Spark, Delta Lake, and modern cloud technologies.
• Drive data platform standards, performance tuning, and cost efficiency across the organization.
• Lead engineering decisions and mentor teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and implement data modeling using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Optimize large-scale data processing and Spark performance on Databricks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark, Scala).
• Hands-on experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and large-scale data processing.
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong data modeling skills, specifically Medallion Architecture.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization in Spark and Databricks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building scalable data platforms in a production environment.
