Description

You will lead the design and implementation of large-scale data management platforms on AWS, translating customer requirements into architectural models for scale and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of developers across Big Data, Reporting, and Database architecture.
• Develop configuration-based ETL pipelines and reusable CloudFormation artifacts.
• Advise customers on system changes during live AWS implementations and document best-practice reference architectures.
• Create, validate, and finalize architecture patterns against non-functional requirements.

Required Skills

• 12-14 years of experience in AWS and big data technologies.
• Expertise with AWS services: EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, Athena, Lake Formation, S3, Glue, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, Presto, Hive, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and developing data models in dbt.
• Experience with orchestration using Dagster and the Starburst ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Practical experience in Machine Learning, Statistics, and Predictive Modelling.
• Deep understanding of networking, storage, and hardware optimization for data infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or Data Analytics Specialty.
• Experience using bootstrapping via user data scripts.
