Description

You will lead data engineering efforts across the full software development life cycle, from requirements elicitation to application architecture and design.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define application architecture and create high-level design artifacts.
• Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
• Lead validation for all testing types and support implementation, transition, and warranty activities.
• Interface with key stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.

Required Skills

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Hadoop distributed frameworks and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• At least 2 years of experience using Spark for handling large datasets.
• At least 2 years of experience with Scala or Python.
• Proficient knowledge of SQL with any RDBMS.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate across internal and external teams.

Preferred Skills

• At least 1 year of AWS development experience.
• Experience with DevOps and automation.
