Description

You will lead the design and maintenance of scalable data management systems. You will conceptualize technical solutions and partner with product teams to prioritize features and manage data requirements. Operating within an Agile scrum team, you will communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders while delivering data products.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
• Conceptualize and design detailed technical solutions for data infrastructure.
• Partner with product teams to prioritize features for sprints and manage data requirements.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Operate within an Agile scrum team to deliver data products.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including experience leading a team.
• In-depth expertise with Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience writing medium to high complexity SQL statements.
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and SnapLogic.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, including dimensional data models and Star Schema artifacts.
• Understanding of data modeling techniques for OLTP and OLAP systems.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with shell scripting (bash/zsh, grep/sed/awk).
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
