Description

Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and enterprise data warehouse solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data warehouse implementation and manage data analytics projects.
• Design and implement comprehensive data strategies to enhance decision-making.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and physical schemas optimized for performance.
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models using dimensional modeling techniques.
• Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data privacy, security, and integrity.

Required Skills

• 8 to 12 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency in Azure data services including Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.
• Demonstrable experience with Kimball and Data Vault architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Proven expertise in data modeling, data transformation, and data quality implementation.
• Strong understanding of database design principles and dimensional modeling.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing data strategies within the Wealth Management industry.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
