Description

You will lead the design, construction, and maintenance of scalable data solutions on the Snowflake platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable StreamSets pipelines for data ingestion and loading into Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake stored procedures, functions, and scripts using SnowSQL.
• Design end-to-end data architectures ensuring security, scalability, and best practices.
• Execute complex data migration projects involving transformation and validation from legacy systems.
• Tune data pipelines and Snowflake queries to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 4 years in a lead capacity.
• Hands-on expertise with StreamSets for data ingestion and transformation.
• Advanced knowledge of Snowflake, including SnowSQL, stored procedures, and Snowpark.
• Deep proficiency in SQL for complex queries and performance tuning.
• Strong Python programming skills, specifically using PySpark for data processing.
• Experience with end-to-end solution design and large-scale data migration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS and its integration with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with other ETL tools, orchestration frameworks, and data governance standards.
