You will lead the research, design, and implementation of complex data projects involving multiple models, maps, and workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert, ensuring deep understanding of data usage and meaning.
• Deliver end-to-end integration solutions following Data Engineering best practices and TDD.
• Translate technical requirements into working code solutions.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines from disparate systems.
• Lead team efforts, participating in prioritization and execution of work.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Senior-level Javascript proficiency.
• Deep expertise in Data Modeling techniques, including Star schemas and Slowly Changing Dimensions.
• Advanced SQL skills, including DDL vs DML understanding and 3NF decomposition.
• Experience with Data Warehousing, specifically applying Kimball and Inmon techniques.
• Senior experience with Snowflake.
• Practical knowledge of Azure Cloud Technologies.
• Familiarity with non-relational/NoSQL data stores.
• Understanding of ACID transactions and basic CAP theorem principles.
