Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes using structured and unstructured data. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, design ETL architectures, and manage solution delivery teams while coordinating with customers on project scoping and risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize complex SQL, shell scripts, and data ingestion pipelines for low-latency stream processing.
• Lead semantic modeling, development activities, and the creation of reporting mapping documents.
• Monitor system performance and advise on necessary infrastructure or configuration changes.
• Manage solution delivery teams and coordinate with customers to scope projects and perform risk analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL development.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or Talend.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL development.
• Strong expertise in RDBMS concepts and dimensional modeling (Star and Snowflake schemas).
• Experience with data integration from multiple sources and mapping between source, core, and semantic structures.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Background in financial services, telecom, or retail domains.
• Experience in customer-facing roles managing large engagements and delivery teams.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Teradata tools, technologies, or certifications.
• Experience with Big Data technologies including Pig, Hive, Spark, Kafka, or NiFi.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like HBase, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
