Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end data solutions using AWS and Snowflake.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to support warehousing and analytics.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams of 8-10+ members.
• Manage release planning, change management, and L2/L3 support.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Big Data concepts.
• Expertise in Snowflake, including hands-on development and architectural understanding.
• Mastery of SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Strong experience with AWS services including Glue, EMR, S3, Aurora, and RDS.
• Deep proficiency in ETL/Data Management: query optimization, performance tuning, CDC, and incremental vs batch processing.
• Hands-on experience with RBAC, row/column-level security, and data profiling.
• Experience with Unix commands, job scheduling, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Iceberg.
• Domain knowledge in the insurance industry, specifically claims and loss processes.
