Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions using AWS and Snowflake, focusing on insurance claims and loss domains.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data solutions using AWS and Snowflake.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure quality and security.
• Optimize data warehousing and analytics solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Big Data.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Expertise in AWS tools including Glue, EMR, S3, Aurora, and RDS.
• Proficiency in data ingestion and processing frameworks.
• Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and production deployments.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and security best practices.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Familiarity with Data Vault 2.0, data migration strategies, and DevOps practices.
• AWS or Snowflake certification.
