Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions on AWS and Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions using AWS and Snowflake.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for warehousing and analytics.
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior data engineers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and delivery.
• 8+ years of experience with Big Data Concepts.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with Snowflake and AWS services (Glue, EMR, S3, Aurora, RDS).
• Understanding of data ingestion and processing frameworks.
• Proven ability to code, debug, perform performance tuning, and deploy to production.
• Experience working within Agile Methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with insurance data, specifically claims and loss.
