Description

You will lead the migration of core data systems from Oracle to Snowflake to support regulated reporting and advanced analytics.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to migrate large volumes of regulatory data from Oracle to Snowflake.
• Translate Oracle PL/SQL procedures into Snowflake SQL and Snowpark logic.
• Implement cost-optimized Snowflake solutions that adhere to data security and compliance standards.
• Perform data validation, schema conversion, and audit tracking to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Automate data workflows and maintain technical documentation within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or database development.
• Deep expertise with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Informatica, or Matillion.
• Experience working in highly regulated data environments.
• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro Certification.
• Cloud expertise in GCP, Azure, or AWS and knowledge of security protocols.
• Experience supporting regulatory bodies.
