Description

You will lead end-to-end data migration and engineering initiatives, focusing on converting legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data migration solutions from legacy systems (PeopleSoft, BAAN, Infor LN) to SAP ERP / S4 HANA.
• Develop and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and cloud-native services.
• Define, monitor, and improve data quality rules, dashboards, and controls for master and transactional data.
• Identify and resolve data duplication, integrity, and quality issues, implementing preventive governance controls.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and migration team members.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience, including strong hands-on data engineering and system architecture.
• 8+ years in data extraction, migration, cleansing, and management, with proven experience leading large-scale SAP ERP / S4 HANA migrations.
• Strong programming in Python, SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with Spark / PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA and SAP implementations.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Synapse, ADLS, and/or AWS Glue.
• Hands-on experience with data migration tools like Syniti or IBM DataStage.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, MDM, and data governance.
• Experience using data quality tools like Informatica Data Quality or Talend DQ.
