Description

You will lead backend solution design and integration within Enterprise Systems, providing technical direction on architecture and platform selection.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects and define technical designs with product managers and architects.
• Decide on development strategies, including approach and code libraries.
• Mentor junior engineers through task delegation, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code while building reusable components.
• Diagnose and remediate complex development issues and technical problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Enterprise Development experience with team oversight.
• 5+ years of AWS experience, including expertise in high-volume serverless solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and AWS DMS.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL, including Redshift and Aurora Postgres.
• Experience with EventBridge, Step Functions, and Chart.js.
• Ability to work US hours while following UK hours.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PySpark, R, and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience with Agile, SAFe, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with CRM, Finance, or Accounting systems.
