Description

Lead data engineering efforts to build and maintain a connected data fabric system.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a connected data fabric system using modern data platforms.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to existing engineers on the team.
• Solve complex data problems and proactively mitigate common architectural issues.
• Work within an Agile team to adjust to changing technical priorities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in senior-level Data Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Flink.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering workflows.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, specifically S3, Glue, and Lake Formation.
• Infrastructure management using Terraform.
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Hudi or Apache Iceberg.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and AWS EMR.
