Description

Own the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based data storage and processing solutions using Snowflake. You will build robust data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and drive governance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize cloud-based data storage and processing solutions using Snowflake.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with federated teams to define data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and governance across all workflows and storage layers.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to guarantee reliability, accuracy, and smooth data flow.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proven expertise with Snowflake for data warehousing and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or dbt.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and data processing.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Exposure to data orchestration tools.
