You will lead the design and implementation of scalable data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data ingestion frameworks.
• Implement Raw → DV 2.0 (Hubs/Links/Satellites) → Consumption patterns in dbt Cloud with tests.
• Author and operate Airflow (MWAA) DAGs and/or dbt Cloud jobs, ensuring lineage tracking and SLAs.
• Enforce RBAC/ABAC, network policies, and data masking to maintain least-privilege access.
• Build controls and evidence to satisfy internal audit, SOX, GLBA, and PCI expectations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Expertise in Snowflake object creation and optimization (tables, streams, materialized views).
• Proficiency in authoring and managing workflows using Airflow (MWAA) or dbt Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Strong command of CI/CD pipelines and Git branching strategies.
• Experience implementing data quality checks, reconciliation, and anomaly alerting.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk and Datadog.
• Knowledge of security controls, including RBAC/ABAC and data classification.
• Ability to optimize Snowflake resource usage (warehouses, clustering).
