Description

You will design and implement data movement and transformation processes to support critical business requirements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product owners, finance, and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into engineering solutions.
• Develop new best practices for data movement and transformation.
• Research and implement new technologies to optimize engineering workflows.
• Identify and escalate technical risks or issues to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of related experience in data engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with the Spark framework for big data solutions.
• Experience transforming legacy data platforms into data streaming platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically Glue, EMR, EC2, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
• Experience with database querying and data management.
• Knowledge of Test Automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the Financial Services industry.
