Description

You own the end-to-end data pipeline, from extraction to loading, to support analytics and decision-making.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists to deliver data-driven solutions for strategic initiatives.
• Analyze large datasets and apply data-cleaning techniques to support model development.
• Develop and maintain tools using internal technologies to solve business problems.
• Write new code to evaluate and improve existing data processing logic within the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional programming experience.
• Expertise in Python (highly preferred), Java, Groovy, Perl, and/or Shell scripting.
• Experience with AWS services including SageMaker, S3, Athena, and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Proficiency with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
• Expertise utilizing Linux (RedHat) and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with relational databases like Oracle or MySQL.
• Ability to translate business problems into executable code.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with VS Code and notebook interfaces.
• Experience supporting existing analytic codebases and SDLC processes.
