Description

Lead a team of data engineers to design, build, and maintain the organization's data architecture and ecosystem.

You will own the technical direction of data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses while ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Design and maintain data architecture, including data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines to integrate internal and external data sources.
• Implement data governance, security measures, and monitoring systems to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and DBA teams to design and deploy technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 18+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Deep expertise in Data Lakehouse architecture.
• Advanced proficiency with SSIS ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, ADF, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Hub Events.
• Experience integrating data from SAP and Salesforce.
• Ability to design data transformation, cleaning, and orchestration processes.
• Experience managing data security through access controls and encryption.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Power BI.
