Description

You will lead data engineering initiatives on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL scripts and business logic using Python.
• Design and manage data models and documentation using DBT.
• Orchestrate data workflows using Airflow and Dataflow.
• Build and manage data persistence layers using PL/SQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Python for data manipulation (pandas, NumPy).
• Strong command of PL/SQL for data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with DBT for data modeling.
• Proficiency with Airflow, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines using Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
• Familiarity with SFTP mechanisms and database connection handling.
