Description

You will act as the primary subject matter expert for commercial operations within the Life Sciences sector, bridging the gap between complex business needs and technical data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data pipelines within the Azure ecosystem.
• Translate commercial business requirements from Sales, Marketing, Incentive Compensation, and Claims into actionable data engineering solutions.
• Direct the integration of diverse datasets, including Patient Data and Longitudinal Access and Adjudication Data (LAAD).
• Collaborate with IT, Data Science, and Business Operations teams to ensure seamless data integration and infrastructure support.
• Develop data governance frameworks to ensure high data quality, security, and compliance with HIPAA and GDPR.
• Design business intelligence solutions and dashboards to support senior commercial leadership decision-making.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in commercial operations within the Life Sciences industry.
• 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience managing large datasets.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Services, specifically Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Expertise in SQL and Python for building data models and pipelines.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data lake architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Incentive Compensation (IC), and Claims data.
• Experience managing Longitudinal Access and Adjudication Data (LAAD).
• Functional understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence.
