Description

You will architect and build automated batch workflows to transform and deliver insurance data to publishing and imaging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build automated batch workflows to transform Customer Policy and Billing Insurance data.
• Develop and maintain code using Java, Perl, and XSLT/XPath for XML data translation.
• Lead architecture decisions for insurance data integration to digital policy and billing print solutions.
• Manage Git/GitHub repositories, including setup, code migration, and deployment workflow optimization.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Project Management to define and estimate user stories in Jira.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience coding with Java, Perl, and XML/XSLT/XPath.
• Expertise in Git/GitHub and Subversion for source control and repository management.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including story sizing, iteration planning, and retrospectives.
• Experience with Cloud platform technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Proven ability to perform code reviews using source control tools.
• Background in both Agile and waterfall software development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Insurance Billing and Policy Systems.
• Knowledge of customer-facing digital print solutions like OpenText xPression or xStream.
