Lead data model design for financial systems, ensuring scalability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for financial instruments and accounting datasets.
• Define data standards, structures, and relationships across journals and ledgers.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to implement and optimize data models.
• Support data mapping and transformation between disparate systems.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and model efficiency.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Python programming.
• Strong hands-on experience in data model design.
• Proficient SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with data formats: XML, JSON, Parquet, Avro, and Protobuf.
• Deep understanding of financial instruments, particularly derivatives.
• Experience modeling accounting and journal data.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
