Description

You will lead the design and implementation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models across cloud and on-premise platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for SQL Data Warehouse, Spark, Databricks Delta Lakehouse, and other cloud technologies.
• Govern data design by documenting metadata, business definitions, and database object constructions.
• Develop reusable, cloud-centric, code-first data models and mappings to maximize reuse across business domains.
• Drive collaborative reviews of data model design, code, data, and security features.
• Partner with data stewards and stakeholders for data discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and design.
• Proficiency with SAP data models, specifically HANA and S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience with Hana, S/4hana, Github, Sql Data Warehouse, Spark, and Data Bricks Delta Lakehouse.
• Experience with MPP database technologies like Databricks Lakehouse, Redshift, Synapse, Teradata, or Snowflake.
• Expertise in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, or IDM/ARDM.
• Deep understanding of business domains including Customer, Sales, Finance, Supplier, and Manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and DataOps concepts.
• Experience with retail data such as IRI or Nielsen Retail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and data glossaries.
