Description

You will own the technical vision and implementation of the search platform, ensuring scalability for growing data volumes. You will mentor search engineers, drive best practices, and integrate advanced NLP, vector search, and personalization capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the long-term technical vision for the search platform.
• Mentor the team through technical reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
• Build search capabilities with measurable KPIs and leverage analytics for continuous improvement.
• Profile and tune deep learning algorithms for keyword matching and user behavior analysis.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to align search initiatives with business objectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical methods.
• Strong proficiency in Python, NumPy, SciPy, and pandas.
• Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps and Cloud Computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Track record deploying search-related ML models in large industrial or manufacturing applications.
• Knowledge of Search Algorithms, including Learning-Rank, Lambda MART, and BM25.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Semantic Retrieval.
• Background in heavy equipment engineering, onboard architecture, or Raspberry Pi.
