Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists by providing technical guidance and support.
• Drive end-to-end AI/ML projects, from problem identification and experimentation to deployment and optimization.
• Define technical strategies for data science solutions and advanced analytics platforms.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models using NLP, LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG.
• Evaluate AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve platform capabilities.
• Monitor and optimize model performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Manage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, including financial documents and scanned files.
• Lead data extraction activities using web scraping, crawling, and entity recognition techniques.
• Ensure scalable data pipelines and reliable data processing workflows.
• Drive MLOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployment practices using AWS and Azure.
• Establish coding standards, quality controls, and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve data science processes, tools, and technologies.

Experience Required:

• 9 to 12 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Statistical Modelling.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, R, and SQL.
• Expertise in AI/ML, NLP, LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG.
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, data engineering, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience in leading and managing data science teams.
• Ability to define technical strategies, model evaluation metrics, and production standards.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial services or investment banking is preferred.
• Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, and regulatory compliance is an added advantage.
