You will drive data-driven automated decision-making by developing scalable solutions for problems like pricing and product allocation.
Responsibilities
Develop new algorithms and improve existing approaches using statistical, econometric, and machine learning methods to forecast demand and optimize supply chain investment.
Design, write, own, and maintain production-grade analytics code supporting forecasting and optimization models.
Review and ensure code quality for peers.
Assess business constraints to recommend trade-offs between solution speed and accuracy.
Contribute to building, scoring, deploying, monitoring, and promoting the central forecasting platform.
Required Skills
7+ years of related industry experience.
Demonstrated expertise with data science methods, machine learning algorithms, and production-level programming principles.
Advanced skills in Python, Pandas, and SQL for developing and maintaining analytics software.
Working knowledge of forecasting techniques, including trend analysis, econometric models, and ML algorithms.
Experience building, training, scoring, tuning, and maintaining predictive models in production at enterprise scale.
Familiarity with data acquisition, preprocessing, modeling, and monitoring across the data science lifecycle.
Experience with common data science/analytics software tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook, Spark, Git).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services.
