Description

You lead technical coordination for data scientists while driving complex projects from concept to production-ready implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical support for data scientists on active projects.
• Develop production-ready code with comprehensive documentation and unit tests.
• Design and implement machine learning models including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning methods.
• Build ETL processes and data pipelines to transform raw data into practical solutions.
• Communicate complex analytical results and abstract concepts to stakeholders clearly.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science.
• 2+ years of experience in a Lead Data Scientist role providing coordination support.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in Spark/Scala for statistical analysis, data modeling, and ETL.
• Strong experience with Scikit-learn, Numpy, and Pandas.
• Proven ability to implement machine learning methods including k-nearest neighbors, random forests, ensemble methods, and neural networks.
• Deep knowledge of statistical predictive modeling, data mining, and forecasting.
• Required experience with AWS SageMaker.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as Glue, Athena, or Lambda.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with R, Matlab, SPSS, SAS, or Stata.
• Proficiency in healthcare analytics and data structures.
• Experience with Hive, Hadoop, or distributed computing.
