You will lead engineering projects and small teams to build complex data-driven interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and mentor small technical teams.
• Develop high-performance data visualizations using React.js and Deck.gl.
• Integrate geospatial layers, views, and Carto components into frontend applications.
• Manage data manipulation and rendering pipelines for large datasets.
• Communicate technical concepts through visual storytelling.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in software development.
• 8+ years of experience in front-end development.
• 2+ years of dedicated experience in data visualization.
• Proficiency in React.js and Deck.gl (Layers, Views, and Carto integration).
• Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with rendering pipelines including WebGL and Canvas.
• Expertise in data manipulation using D3.js or Lodash.
• Familiarity with geospatial formats like GeoJSON, TopoJSON, and tilesets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and API integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling complex coordinate systems and large-scale datasets.
