Lead the technical transition of data from mainframe systems to a cloud-based data warehouse architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical transition of data from mainframe systems to a cloud-based data warehouse architecture.
• Execute data mapping, research, and complex querying to prepare for large-scale structural changes.
• Engineer data through the development of views and tables, ensuring rigorous validation and research.
• Design and convert data structures to ensure the reporting team can build necessary solutions.
• Lead an Agile team and act as the primary technical point of contact for business users and contractors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and engineering.
• Expert-level SQL skills for data validation and complex querying.
• Strong experience with Azure environments.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse.
• Proven ability to run Agile processes independently.
• Experience managing data migrations or structural conversions.
• Ability to work without direct oversight and manage shifting requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe to cloud migrations.
