You will manage and optimize core database environments, support technical deployments, and resolve day-to-day incidents.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize core database environments.
• Assist with new deployments and the onboarding of legacy databases.
• Support developers to ensure application queries are optimized for efficiency.
• Consult on new projects to define database technologies and architectural approaches.
• Resolve day-to-day incidents involving database assets.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience managing Oracle or Postgres databases.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and MySQL.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with database performance tuning and analytical troubleshooting.
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts.
• OS-level storage management in Linux.
• Good English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers.
• Knowledge of DevOps processes and automation tools.
• Experience with Cassandra.
