Description

Lead the administration, design, and maintenance of the enterprise MSSQL environment. You will ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and manage the full lifecycle of database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain databases for development, testing, and production environments.
• Execute capacity planning and perform ongoing tuning to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Implement and enforce security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage database migrations, upgrades, and regular patching cycles.
• Advise development teams on server deployment, configuration, and efficient query design.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience managing MSSQL and Windows operating systems.
• 8+ years of experience in physical and logical MSSQL Server and database design.
• 8+ years of experience in database performance tuning and capacity planning.
• 8+ years of experience with SQL Administration, including MSSQL roles and features.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud-based database services such as AWS RDS or MS Azure.
• Expertise in MSSQL backup, recovery, and security management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools including SSMS, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Experience managing database objects such as tables, clusters, indexes, views, and procedures.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Server, MySQL, or Postgres databases.
• Knowledge of DevOps, automation tools, and CloudOps processes.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Data Dog or PagerDuty.
