You lead database security initiatives and design secure enterprise database solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design technical solutions to meet evolving business and security needs.
• Conduct 360-degree security assessments on in-flight and pre-flight projects.
• Evaluate existing systems to identify vulnerabilities and performance gaps, implementing necessary enhancements.
• Design, configure, and administer relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Monitor database performance, capacity, and growth, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT industry experience, including 5+ years in Database Administration for enterprise-scale environments.
• Proven expertise with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of RDBMS software.
• Strong knowledge of database security principles, access control, encryption, and auditing.
• Experience with performance tuning, replication, clustering, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Solid understanding of IT security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional development and infrastructure teams.

Preferred Skills

• Comptia Security+, SSCP, or AWS Security certifications.
