Description

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Teradata server-class database and specialty server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and control Teradata database environments and specialty server infrastructures.
• Drive automation and establish best practices for environment management.
• Manage SSH keys, certificates, firewall rules, and Teradata SLES/OS security baselines.
• Execute risk management efforts including vulnerability management, compliance adherence, and patching.
• Participate in the Teradata Infrastructure on-call rotation for incident response.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Teradata Systems Infrastructure Engineering or Technology Architecture experience.
• 5+ years of direct experience with Teradata databases.
• 5+ years of Teradata SLES/Unix system administration experience.
• 5+ years of Teradata technical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Teradata risk management and threat remediation.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted technical projects and issues.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Teradata patch management experience.
• Support for Teradata specialty software.
