Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and expansion of data pipelines through complex extraction, transformation, and loading activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using IBM DataStage v11.x for diverse source extractions.
• Develop reusable Unix scripts and components to automate job execution and streamline processes.
• Troubleshoot DataStage jobs and perform performance tuning to optimize ETL workflows.
• Document technical and system specifications for ETL processes and conduct unit testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data architecture meets end-user needs.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in DataStage Administration, Development, and CDC.
• 2+ years of recent hands-on experience with IBM DataStage v11.x.
• Proficiency with DataStage Designer, DataStage Director, and DataStage Operations Console.
• Expert-level Unix skills, including job automation and script development.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in complex query development and RDBMS tuning.
• Experience with database technologies including DB2, Oracle, and Teradata.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema methodologies.
• Experience with Data Cleansing, Data Conversion, and Job Sequencing.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AutoSys scheduler.
• Experience working within Agile or Scaled Agile frameworks.
