Description

Lead the management, configuration, and optimization of diverse relational and non-relational database environments across the full product lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server databases from development through production.
• Execute database migrations from physical servers to AWS cloud services.
• Configure ETL replication from RDS to Redshift using AWS DMS.
• Perform installations, version upgrades, replication, and user management.
• Own backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning for all instances.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in production database management.
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL technologies including PostgresDB, SQL Server, CosmosDB, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL (5.6.x, 5.7.x, 8.x) and MariaDB (10.x, 11.x).
• Proficiency with AWS services including RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), Aurora, Redshift, and AWS DMS.
• Experience with MongoDB installation, backup/restore, and user management.
• Technical knowledge of AWS Redshift configuration, installation, and migration.
• Proven track record in on-premise to cloud migration and upgrade projects.
• Operating experience in both Linux and Windows Server environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AWS DocumentDB.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
