You will own the end-to-end management and reliability of our database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MySQL, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Execute performance tuning, query optimization, and system upgrades.
• Own database security, backup, and restore procedures.
• Monitor database health and implement alerting protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and stability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Expertise in Cassandra and AWS RDS.
• Proficiency with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with database monitoring and alerting tools.
• Deep understanding of database security principles and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Database - Specialty certification.
