You will own the end-to-end operation, performance, and reliability of our database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain database infrastructure for high availability across all environments.
• Execute critical administration tasks including backups, restores, and version upgrades.
• Perform regular performance tuning and optimization to maintain system health.
• Implement database monitoring, alerting, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database requirements.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in database administration.
• Deep expertise in Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Managed Databases, specifically RDS.
• Proficiency with MySQL.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
• Experience implementing database monitoring and alerting tools.
• Strong knowledge of database security principles.
