Description

Lead the design and development of advanced Android applications in Auckland, New Zealand.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate applications with outside data sources and APIs.
• Write unit tests to ensure code robustness, covering edge cases and usability.
• Fix bugs and optimize application performance.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in mobile application development.
• 5+ years of professional Android development using Kotlin and Java.
• Proficiency with Android Studio and the Android SDK across different versions.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Hands-on experience with RxJava.
• Strong knowledge of Android Jetpack, MVVM, and Android UI design principles.
• Experience working with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Atlassian tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
