Description

You will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications and integrations using Java, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable microservices and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.
• Design RESTful and SOAP web services, ensuring seamless integration with third-party platforms.
• Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements to production deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth releases.
• Mentor developers on coding best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
• Proven track record in API development, including RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with GitLab, SQL, and Unix environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and real-time streaming.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Firebase.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
