Description

Lead the architecture and delivery of scalable, cloud-native microservices for enterprise-scale systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build Java-based microservices using Spring Boot, GraphQL, and Node.js.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka and Apache Camel.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability practices.
• Mentor engineering teams on software design, security standards, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Java development experience with enterprise-scale microservices.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS, including solution architecture and deployment.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, GraphQL, and Node.js.
• Proven experience with event-driven systems, specifically Kafka and Camel.
• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Experience leading application modernization and monolith-to-microservices transformations.
• Knowledge of service meshes (Istio), API gateways (Zuul, NGINX), and security protocols (OAuth2, SAML).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins) and observability platforms (DataDog, Sumo Logic).
• Strong understanding of telecommunications systems, including identity, billing, and device management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in full-stack development using React or Angular.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SAFe frameworks.
