Description

Lead small Agile teams in migrating and modernizing legacy customer applications to MongoDB.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical planning, design, and solution architecture to transition applications from legacy states to target MongoDB-based architectures.
• Lead technical sprint grooming, planning, and showcases in partnership with project managers.
• Provide technical direction and authority to developers, project managers, and customer stakeholders.
• Manage technical challenges and risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Integrate GenAI advancements and new development processes into migration projects.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a software developer.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical lead role.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience building applications that interact with relational databases using SQL.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Java (J2EE / JavaEE / Spring) application architectures.
• Experience delivering high-cadence applications using Agile, test-first development, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Ability to travel and work on customer sites for multiple continuous weeks.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of microservices architectures and Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with Python, Node.js, or JavaScript.
• Experience using ORMs such as Hibernate or JPA.
