Description

You will lead development and operations for critical infrastructure and applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain infrastructure within AWS cloud environments.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub workflows and Jenkins.
• Automate application deployment using Ansible or Terraform.
• Manage, guide, and mentor a global team of Site Reliability Engineers.
• Design cost controls and execute optimization strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience building and supporting production applications and infrastructure.
• Expert proficiency in Python or another high-level scripting language.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration.
• Proven experience managing and resolving issues across AWS cloud services.
• Experience with capacity planning, performance analysis, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with security controls and remediation of AWS non-compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and production issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog, SumoLogic, Grafana, PagerDuty, or NewRelic.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
